Troop 829 welcomes all scouts, boys and girls, to join in our two Scouts BSA troops.
Troop 829B
Troop 829B has over 15 scouts. We focus on fun, leadership, scouting skills and service. Currently, we have two patrols: The Carnivorous Watermelons and the Akatsuki patrols!

Troop 829B tailors our skill activity and patrol meetings based on what each of our scouts need in order to advance in rank or to complete merit badges. Each meeting has a different theme.
​
The troop games are competitions between patrols or individuals for who gets bragging rights for the meeting.
​
You can come to the troop meetings if you are interested.
Troop 829G
Troop 829G offers the opportunity for girls to join the unit. We currently have 10 scouts and one patrol called the Cowboy patrol.
​
Troop 829G offers many different activities to cater to every scout's skill level. Some of the activities we do are knots, cooking, fire building and first aid. We also enjoy going hiking and camping whenever we can.
​
The troop is also very dedicated to teaching all scouts how to be a leader by guiding them through the skills they need to become a leader and slowly giving them more leadership in the troop so as they become more confident in their leadership, they are also growing their leadership skills.
